"When Monica (JoBee's Miss Wings) came home with me, I was amazed at how quickly she learned everything I said to her. She not only loves to do tricks, but she immediately picked up on everyday things I say to her, such as "I'll be right back" so that she doesn't fuss when I run out to the mailbox. She is not only the most beautiful creature I'd ever seen, but she is very animated and totally motivated by praise. The more I teach her, the more she wants to do for me - anything for applause and hugs, which are plentiful at our house.

Becky with Monica
I knew that another Papillon would be in our future, and now that (JoBee's Calamity Jane) Callie has joined the family, my pleasure has doubled and then some. Monica loves having company and is more active now. Callie is sweet and sensitive and very different than Monica. Callie is intelligent and co-operative, but doesn't care for tricks and such. She's a laid back kind of girl, which works well in our family dynamic.

Bee with Calamity Jane
A wonderful Papillon trait is that they are so individualistic - each with their own special personality. I love the fact that Bee raises them to be who they are (within acceptable boundaries) and that they are loved all
their lives, so are loving in return. All of Bee's dogs (not just those
for show) assume the 'pose' of a Papillon quite naturally. It's as if they are saying to the world, 'I'm who I am, I'm in charge, I'm gorgeous and smart.....now, want to play???"
